In the morning, train to Luang Prabang (1 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.) then drive to Nong Khiaw (3 a.m.) on the Nam Ou river. En route, visit the artisan village of Ban Li. Ascent of the Nam Ou by canoe (2 hours) to the village of Sopcham, known for its artisan weavers.

Flight prices vary so book as early as possible.
If you take your flights directly, pay attention to the sites. It is always better to book with the airline itself (flexibility, delay, cancellation, etc.)
Visas can be reserved online and are issued upon arrival in Vientiane. No visa for Thailand if you want to spend a few days there before or after the trip.
