Discovering the beauties of the Himalayas and Buddhism in Annapurna - Nepal 2026

An experience created over the years since 2016 by Base Camp Trek and Marie Milla — a deeply transformative human adventure connected to life itself, which continues today thanks to the participation of yoga teachers, coaches, and guides who are ready to lead you on this journey in turn.

The fix dates and your yoga teacher

- Marie Milla - 20 March to 04 April 2026
- Stephanie Brossard - 06 April to 18 April 2026
- Armelle Planchon - 16 October to 28 October 2026
- Sandrine Michalot - 19 October + 31 October 2026
- Caroline Chesnel - 09 Nov 24 Nov 2026 (longer itinerary than others > see program)

In a few words…

A unique journey — a true life-changing experience — awaits you on this retreat, which combines an 8-day off-the-beaten-path itinerary in the heart of the Himalayas with the discovery of monasteries and must-see sites in the Kathmandu Valley.

You will walk mindfully (5–6 hours per day), exploring the treasures of the Annapurna region. Immersed in Buddhist wisdom, you will feel the heart-centered energy that characterizes both the monks and the mountain communities.

Throughout the journey, you will gently dive into your inner world and reconnect with your body through yoga, meditation, and sound healing sessions offered by Caroline. Silent walking is recommended to fully embrace and absorb the experience.

The walking level is moderate and does not require technical skills or involve particular risks (no ridge crossings, high passes, or climbing). However, this is still a high-altitude trek: the days include significant elevation gains, which can be intense for beginner hikers (equivalent to climbing and descending several ten-story buildings). The trek is accessible to all, but it is essential to have good overall physical condition, solid cardiovascular fitness, and determination.

The group will be guided by a French-speaking Nepali guide, supported by a team of assistants and porters, who handle all logistical arrangements.
