In a few words…
A unique journey, a life-changing experience awaits you on this trip that combines an 8-day off-the-beaten-path itinerary in the heart of the Himalayas with the discovery of monasteries and must-see sites in the Kathmandu Valley.
You will walk mindfully (5-6 hours per day) to encounter the gems of the Annapurna region, and against a backdrop of Buddhist wisdom, you will feel the heart energy that characterises Buddhist monks and mountain dwellers.
You will gently dive into your inner self and connect with your body through yoga, meditation, and sound therapy sessions led by Sandra throughout the journey. Walking in silence is recommended to fully embrace the experience.
The hiking level is moderate, requiring no technical skills and presenting no particular danger (no ridge crossings, mountain passes, or climbing). However, we remind you that this is nonetheless a high-altitude trek - the days are characterised by significant elevation gains that can be demanding for beginner hikers (uphill walking equivalent to climbing and descending several ten-story buildings repeatedly). While this trek is accessible to everyone, it takes place in high-mountain terrain, so good overall physical fitness, strong cardio, and solid determination are essential.
The group will be led by a French-speaking Nepali guide and his team of assistants and porters, and all logistical and regulatory organisation is fully managed by Base Camp Trek, which organises the trip.
