When using the Maya chatbot, a digital assistant at Base Camp Trek, protecting your personal data is a priority.

The Maya chatbot does not collect any personally identifiable data by default. No contact information (name, email address, telephone number, etc.) is collected automatically without being voluntarily provided by the user.

Personal data can only be communicated if the user voluntarily transmits them, for example in the context of a request for a quote, the personalized preparation of a trip, or an exchange requiring human follow-up by the Base Camp Trek team.

Use of data:

The information that may be shared is used exclusively for the purpose of preparing and organizing your trip, responding to your specific requests, improving the quality of the advice and support offered.

Data retention:

The data is kept only for the period necessary to prepare and track your trip, and then deleted in accordance with legal obligations and good data protection practices.
