Itinerary between Jungle & Mountain

Our 2025 dates are associated with different festivals:

(Nepal is rich in festivals; each celebration reflects the country's cultural and religious diversity.)

> Indra Jatra in Kathmandu: 5 to 18 September
> Tihar National festival: 19 October to 01 November

The chosen festivals are among the most important. They illustrate Nepal's cultural and spiritual richness, offering unique opportunities to discover its particular traditions and heritage.

We will travel through Nepal from the historic cities of the Kathmandu Valley to the idleness of Pokhara, This varied journey offers us moments of wonder from the contemplation of the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas to the Terai jungle. This trip combines cultural discovery and participation in a major festival in Nepal.

We first immerse ourselves in the Kathmandu Valley:

Emotions first in Kathmandu, the beautiful medieval city of the valley and in the south of Nepal where we participate in the festivities chosen according to the date and period.

Then, on the road to Bandipur, a splendid village typical of traders of the Newar ethnic group, Pokhara, and three days of excursion among the Gurung villages at the foot of the Annapurna!

Return to the capital to discover the fascinating stupas of Swayambhunath and Bodnath, the oldest in the valley, then Pashupatinath, a Hindu site dating from the 12th century, illustrating the two religions, which are often one in Nepalese syncretism.
