The secret trails of Annapurna

Off the beaten path, this trek let us discover the different environments of the Himalayas, from rice fields and villages on the hill sides to dense rhododendron forest. At 4100 m., the panorama from the view point, near the Mardi Himal Base Camp, in the middle of the high peaks of the Annapurna range, is simply magical! From Kande, we start our 9-day trek to Mardi Himal Base Camp. In Landruk, we leave the main path. We walk through dense forests of rhododendrons and follow a ridge which leads us to the foot of the Annapurna high peaks. A gradual climb from High Camp leads us to the 4100 m.- view point on the way to the Mardi Himal Base Camp at 4450 m. high. We are here in the heart of the high Nepalese mountains. During the last part of the trek, we explore the middle Nepalese mountains. We go from villages to villages and see rice fields and terraced fields. To make encounters easier, we sleep at homestay: a unique experience to live! Here is a trek that let us discover Himalaya’s different landscapes. Throughout the trek, we can enjoy breathtaking views on the mythical peaks of the Annapurna range.
